About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Payable Officer (NYSC) to support our Finance operations.
• The ideal candidate will manage supplier payments, expense documentation, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial processes.
• This role is ideal for a serving Corps Member with strong accounting knowledge and an eagerness to grow in a structured FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and post supplier invoices and payment vouchers.
• Maintain accurate records of payables and ensure timely vendor settlements.
• Support supplier statement reconciliations and ledger reviews.
• Assist in cost analysis, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
• Participate in audit preparations and internal documentation processes.
• Maintain third-party documentation for procurement, expenses, and asset purchases.

Requirements

• Must be a serving NYSC member, currently posted or willing to be posted to Lagos (PPA).
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (with a strong accounting background).
• Must be 26 years or older.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting or payable experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP tools (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or SAP).
• High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
