Account Officer at a Reputable Agricultural Company

Job Description

• Daily data collection, review and posting
• Preparation and presentation of monthly payroll
• Preparation of management account.
• Investigate discrepancies that may arise during daily data collection
• Management of petty cash book.
• Preparation of Bank reconciliation statement.
• Assist during monthly internal audit assignment.
• Participate in the preparation of annual budget.
• Perform any other administrative functions that may arise while discharging your accounting function.

Key Performance Indicators

• Collection and filing of vendor invoices
• Custodian of material requisition note sent by the poultry department to feedmill department (copy) and attach invoice sent by the feedmill to the poultry upon delivery/supply of finished feed.
• Post daily record on the fambook software (Feed purchased, usage, fish production, fish mortality, sales etc)
• Posting of daily material procurement.
• Preparation of sales receipt.
• Design excel template where necessary to capture fish production, transfer from farm to  sales and balances.
• Perform on-the-spot check of fish inventory & Feed invetory.
• Any other function he deem fit.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree/HND/OND in Accounting and finance related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years experience in Agro Alied Sector

Remuneration

• The start-up salary is N70,000 monthly and you can grow at your own space depending on performance.
