Job Description

• We are seeking an Account Executive to oversee all financial transactions, ranging from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Pension Remittance
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Ensuring of prompt delivery of goods to customers
• Raising and Posting of Customers Invoices
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of bank statement
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of debtors/creditors account
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures/manuals
• Raising and posting of adjustment journals
• Prepare monthly analysis of balances in suppliers and debtors accounts from the invoice register
• Handling of cash and disbursement of petty cash
• Manage external auditor’s relationships
• Monitor budget performance to analyze variance
• Develop the department and ensure internal control compliance
• Assist in preparation of financial reports
• Liaising with bank on various issues

Requirements

• B.Sc. Degree in Accounting
• 5 - 6 years of work experience as an Accountant/Account Executive
• Additional certification (ICAN) is a plus

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with various Accounting Packages (Zoho Books, Peachtree, NetSuite, 4Site Management, Sage 50 Evolution)
• Excellent Customer Service Skill
• Excellent Understanding of Banking Operations
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Good Accounting skill
• Excellent team player and Team Lead
• Hands on experiences in maintaining proper office filling system
• Sound Knowledge of Computer Operations

Salary
N170,000 - N200,000 / Month (Gross)
