The Account Assistant supports the accountant with business accounting activities such as filing, reporting, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation. He or she provides timely, collaborative, service-oriented support to staff on all financial matters. They also assist with basic administration tasks and should be on hand to answer any queries raised by staff or external clients and service providers. They work closely with the accountant to devise budgets, facilitate all billing processes and ensure compliance.
Main Task and Responsibilities
Support the accountant to maintain project-related records.
Support the accountant in preparing the financial report
Track receivables and payables
Controlling income & expenditure
Assist with auditing and taxes
Perform administrative tasks
