Job Description

• We are in need of a detailed oriented and diligent Account Assistant to assist in our account department.
• His or her responsibilities will include keeping financial records up-to-date, recording transactions, payments and expenses and processing invoices.
• To be successful as an Account Officer, you should have knowledge of basic accounting procedures, be open to learning and have strong communication skills.

Work Duties

• Maintaining financial records.
• Creating and processing invoices.
• Checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
• Sending bills and invoices to clients.
• Handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
• Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.
• Handling queries related to accounts.
• Tracking organisation expenses.
• Processing refunds.
• Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments.

Qualifications and Background

• OND in Accounting.
• 1 - 2 years experience.
• Should have basic knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organisational skills.
• Good Accuracy skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
