    Lecturer

    Responsibilities

    • Must be able to train banks staff and prepare students for Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) exams.
    • Embrace new technological developments that support learning and teaching and incorporate them into best practice.
    • Review and support the development of high quality programme content in response to student feedback and new developments in the relevant field.
    • Lead on the review and development of high quality programme content.
    • Act as a programme leader and coordinate the work of colleagues to ensure programmes are delivered to a high standard.
    • Undertake other duties considered commensurate with the role.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates must possess a B.Sc or MBA Degree in Banking and Finance.
    • Must be a registered member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

    Requirements:

    • Must have worked in the banking and finance department in a reputable university or polytechnic.
    • Must have an in depth understanding of the subject banking and finance including recent developments in banking and finance.
    • Must be honest, God fearing and diligent at work
    • Experience of teaching effectively and providing a stimulating environment for learning and teaching to motivate, inspire and challenge Students.
    • Ability to design, deliver, assess and revise teaching programmes.
    • Experience and success in developing new approaches to learning and teaching methods.
    • Must have a proven track record of contributing to the overall success of own and wider academic departments.
    • Excellent communication skills with experience of developing networks and contributing to the development of better working practices.
    • Must have at least 2 – 5 Years of post-qualification experience in teaching, research and academic administration

    Experience:

    • 2 - 5 years in similar job
    • The candidate must reside in Lagos and ready to travel within the country.
