Corporate Finance & Investor Engagement at ConnectRail Service Limited

Job Description

The role is for an analyst/associate focusing on Corporate finance and Business financing, which includes interacting with funding partners including banks, insurance companies, Private Equity firms, Venture Capital Firms, Angel Investors on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to generate ideas and opportunities for raising funds for the business
• Day-to-day execution of transactions (preparation, valuation, documentation and closing), prospects and pitches targeting potential financing partners
• Managing High level engagement with potential financers and financing partners
• Ability to identify key issues on raising capital for the business and its projectd and develop a structured approach to resolving these issues
• Ability to conduct relevant financial analysis and draw appropriate and compelling conclusions
• Lead or part of core team for cross-functional institutional projects, such as debt investor engagement including local/global investor meetings, debt investor landscape analysis , etc.
• Develop investor relations programme, craft messaging for investors, prepare presentations and other material on financial performance/results
• Lead engagement with investors, banks, lawyers, regulators, etc.

Education and key Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree from a top university; accounting and finance related degrees beneficial though not required subject to quality of experience.
• 3+ years' experience in investment banking or Investment advisory
• Must have deal execution experience
• A self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision and across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong powerpoint and presentation drafting skills
• Financial modelling skills required.
