Senior Structural Fitting Instructor at NigerDock

Responsibilities

•     Ensure that all Materials are of the correct quality, type, grade and size.
•     Ensure that sufficient test coupons are prepared and available for training courses.
•     Advise Training school coordinator of consumable stock level required.
•     Ensure that all burning/cutting equipment is operational and safe for use.
•     Preparing Material Take Offs (MTO) for training courses.
•     Assists in the preparation, delivery, evaluation and reporting on all theoretical machinist training modules
•     Preparing and delivery of candidates' aptitude test.
•     Preparing, deliver and evaluate and report on all practical machinist training modules and periodic examinations.

Qualification and Experience

•     HND in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering or relevant trade test +SSCE.
•     Minimum of 3 years experience as a Structural fitter.
•     Ability to instruct teacher.
•     Strong Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to motivate trainees and apprentices.
