    Business Development Manager - Wireline Logging

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

    Directly reports to: Managing Director

    JOB SUMMARY

    Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, positioning and leading efforts to secure and grow Sales and Market share for our client. They will work closely with management & operations to give effective delivery of my client’s oilfield services.

    JOB DIMENSION

    Key leadership position in improving bottom line results of the company, and significantly expanding the Wireline Logging service offering.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with assigned accounts.
    • Identify account activity information and sales opportunities.
    • Deliver service & Commercial proposals to the customer and close sales to increase market share and profitability.
    • Establish strategy to effectively cover and support existing customers and to continue to increase customer portfolio and uncover new opportunities.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to clients to help them select the appropriate technology to provide the desired results.
    • Continually monitor market, competition and customer specific strategic and operational factors to ensure that current, reliable market intelligence is available to support business decisions.
    • Meet or exceed Sales and Profitability targets for the account.
    • Manage existing upstream sales team including the Miri
    • Develop client base for business in the exploration / development drilling and well intervention markets.
    • Work with OEM partners to accomplish identified sales goals
    • Identify & establish new clients/business
    • Provide Pre-Sales & After Sales support to clients
    • Negotiating tender and contract terms & conditions
    • Review cost & sales performances
    • Writing Sales & Marketing reports

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • A first degree, a post-graduate degree or its equivalent in Engineering or relevant discipline. An MBA will be an added advantage
    • At least 7 years work experience
    • Wireline logging (production logging/ perforation/ pipe recovery) knowledge is a must

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

    • Ability to anticipate risks and challenges, and undertake mitigating actions.
    • Strong Intrapreneurial skills
    • Excellent business acumen with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
    • Knowledge of channel management
