Our Client, a leading energy distribution services company, will be in need of a qualified professional responsible for strong financial earnings and returns, general management, strategy and technical expertise for effective business operations within Nigeria and other West African countries
Purpose of role
This role will involve management of operations and direct responsibility for the performance of the company’s technical, metering sales, supply and services, installation and value added services business lines, including electricity distribution consulting.

Responsibilities

• Plan Strategic Business Objectives: Create the blue print of strategic business plans, evaluates the profitability of the plans and discusses it with the board of directors and practice leads.
• Regular interface with distribution utilities, government as well as international & local technical partners with full Profit & Loss responsibility, relationships & contract management.
• Represent the Company: Create and grow brand equity by establishing and maintaining high public visibility, attend industrial meets, national and international conferences
• Build a Team: Act as like a liaison between Contractors and board of directors. Building a top tier team and ensure that team building is always an integral part of business strategy
• Allocate Budgets: Analyze, evaluate and develop budgets for Company. Scrutinize major expenditures of the Company and ensure that the Company's revenues are directed in cost effective and high rate of return investments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Engineering (MBA with focus on Operations and Engineering is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 20 years post-graduation experience out of which 5 years must have been spent at an MD/ C Level executive position in a Power based business
• Experience in sales, marketing & service delivery of engineering products within electricity / power  business with Technical Service Delivery Excellence record
• Must have relevant Engineering professional training exposure and relevant certifications.
