    Business Development Executive

    Role Summary

    The Business Development Executive is responsible for coming up with different strategies for product expansion and growth in the marketplace to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging relationships with clients. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities       

    • Take ownership of the design of market strategy for assigned products while exhibiting excellence 
    • Take ownership of growing Seamfix client share of assigned products
    • Identifying new Sales and Business Development leads
    • Identifying strategic partnership opportunities / strategic initiatives for scalable sales models 
    • Agility in gaining a clear understanding of customers’ business and requirements
    • Take ownership of conducting research on competition and get useful insights for strategy or re-strategizing where applicable
    • Representing the company in conferences, industry events, etc as strategic avenue for sales
    • Agility in building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Provide feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Pitching products and/or services via presentations to current and prospective clients
    • Collaborate with marketing communication
    • Take ownership of designing and driving sales activities
    • Creating detailed proposal document demonstrating excellence in doing this
    • Attend team meetings and sharing best practices

    Qualifications and Required Experience

    • First class or Second-class upper degree in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or a related relevant discipline
    • 3 - 5yrs as a Business Development Executive preferably in a technology environment
    • Proven experience in turning business prospects into paying customers
    • An MBA or MSc in Business Management is an added advantage
