Job Description
Amongst other duties, the Packaging Maintenance Controller - C & A will;

• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Optimise Plant And Equipment Availability And Reliability
• Optimise Process Performance.
• Manage Planned Maintenance System Integrity And Optimal Usage
• Optimise PLC and SCADA hardware and software standards for Packaging
• Maintain and calibrate field instrumentation and measuring devices in Packaging
• Identify problems or potential problems and Facilitate Problem Solving and support line team
• Optimise Team Performance

Requirements
The occupant of this position should possess:

• Min - Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical/Instrumentation or Control System Engineering
• Minimum of 3-4 years’ Experience as Electrical/instrument Technician on high speed parking lines
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with SCADA system maintenance
• Maintenance Planner’s experience will be an added advantage

Key Competencies and Attributes:

• Knowledge of SIEMENS PLC’s
• Advanced SIMATIC Training
• Knowledge of Manufacturing way/VPO strategies and initiatives
• Familiarity with maintenance systems ( eg. COSWIN )
• Knowledge of Asset management
• Proven leadership skills
• Analytical problem solver
