Enviromental Officer at Mosra Enerji Limited

Job Details:

• The principal role of the Environmental Health and Safety Officer is to ensure understanding of Nigerian Environmental factor and implement Environmental protection Laws in the work place.
• The right individual will have a thorough understanding of HSE- Health, Safety and Environmental requirements including regulatory and compliance.
• Implement environment al management  and protection strategies
• Advise and educate staff members on environmental matters
• Promote compliance with environmental legislation’s and policies
• Disaster management with reference  to environmental related emergencies and its mitigation
• Regular training of employees
• Carrying other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Desired Qualifications and competencies:

• A Bachelor degree or HND in Environmental Science and other related Social Sciences
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the HSE or in a related area
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ability to multitask with high level of creativity, planning  and interpersonal skills
• Proactive personality and ability to work independently
• Certified Health, Safety and Environment specialist.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, word)
