    Head, Human Resources

    SUMMARY

    • Responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource regulations.
    • Execution of effective and strategic HR service to the company in the areas of recruitment, compensation and benefit, performance management, compliance, policies, HR strategy, training, payroll and organizational development.
    • Responsible for organizing and coordinating all office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    HR Strategy

    • Designing and implementing effective HR Systems and Processes
    • Designing and implementing Human Resource policies
    • Developing HR Strategy documents
    • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
    • Manage the induction and orientation program for new employees
    • Manage the end to end process for Recruitment and Selection which includes sourcing and attracting desirable candidates through various means like Head- Hunting, recruitment agencies where necessary, strategic advert placements and other means
    • Supervising the on-boarding process for new staff
    • Design yearly training programs and implement accordingly
    • Supervising the planning and  delivery of internal training
    • Analyse training needs in conjunction with division/line managers
    • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys
    • Carrying out Compensation Surveys across similar industries
    • Manage payroll administration
    • Implementing pay structure revisions
    • Scheduling and conducting job evaluations
    • Recommending benefit programs to management

    Performance Management

    • Coordinate annual performance appraisals
    • Improve on existing performance management framework
    • Managing the implementation of the Performance Management framework

    Employee Relations

    • Manage and facilitate grievance processes and procedures
    • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
    • Interpreting and advising on employment legislation
    • Conducting and analyzing exit interviews
    • Provides counseling, support and advise to employees

    HR Administration

    • Scheduling management meetings with employees
    • Supervise Admin Manager
    • Maintain human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system
    • Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data
    • Manage the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
    • Maintaining accurate up-to-date employee records and ensuring all HR records are held securely
    • Conducting regular audit to verify and complete missing information in staff file
    • Other related responsibilities assigned

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in humanities, social sciences or related field. A master’s degree in Human Resources or a relevant field will be an added advantage
    • Prior experience in Business Administration
    • CIPD, CIPM or SHRM qualified
    • At least 10 years work experience in Human Resources Management within a corporate environment
