Head, Start-up at Box and Cedar

Job Description:

• Develop & update the startup strategy document
• Ensure the smooth running and operation of the incubators
• Define, articulate and implement selection process for entry and/or admission into the accelerator programs
• Design and deliver the accelerator programs for startups
• Operationalize the partnership framework for startups i.e. identify & engage  relevant partners responsible for the delivery of the accelerator programs, infrastructure partners for the provision of relevant infrastructure i.e. internet connectivity etc.

• Track & monitor effectiveness of the accelerator programs and identify improvement areas
• Identify and engage potential investors and/or funders for the startups undergoing the accelerator programs
• Report on an on-going basis performance against targets to the Executive Secretary
• Conduct on-going development needs assessment of the incubators, budget and relevant work plan
• Champion research on key startup challenges and distil key implications for the Fund
• Conduct periodic reporting of progress with the programs

Minimum Qualification: 

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field 

Knowledge & Skills:

• Good knowledge and understanding of the Start-up context in Nigeria
• Has overseen donor funded program (Added advantage)
• 8 years minimum experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Both written and Oral)
• Excellent project Management Skills
