PR Manager at Enable Consulting Limited

We are seeking a talented PR Manager to join a high performance marketing team developing and implementing innovative PR programs and initiatives for our client, one of Lagos’s most exciting and disruptive startups. This is a significant opportunity to join an early stage team working alongside the marketing vendors shaping the company.

The PR role will work across the entire business and be responsible for both planning & executing PR initiatives both via partner agencies and building widespread direct media partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own the PR strategy and execution for the company across all regions & future international markets
• Define creative media solutions to raise mass public awareness of the company’s service offering
• Manage both trade & consumer PR across the business
• Manage existing PR partners / agencies
• Where appropriate build direct media relationships directly with key members of the media
• Monitor all PR channels and provide weekly coverage reports to the business
• Take an entrepreneurial approach in driving PR through innovative idea generation and decisive swift execution
• Manage the press release / news schedule for the business ensuring a steady stream of news & media opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years PR management experience leading PR initiatives across both planning & execution
• Pre-existing media contacts and relations across relevant media channels
• Experience working within disruptive tech & marketing driven organisations
• Experience managing press media across business, tech and consumer

Strong understanding of PR process, key technologies and & tools

• Strong copyrighting / writing skills
• A genuine passion for PR / content marketing & technology
• An entrepreneurial and exploratory approach to your work is a must!
• Great communication skills and clear spoken English
• This role has a part-time option
