3D Environment Artist at Orange VFX Studios

• Orange VFX is looking for an experienced 3D Environment Artist or Architect who can help us create 3D environments, and have in-depth knowledge of architectural features.
• The Artist should have a proven track record of delivering visually stunning, high-quality work and be able to collaborate with a team, mentor and support other members of the modelling team and create polished and optimized 3d models for animation or game environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a 3D Environment Artist, you will:

• Create detailed 3D environment assets; models, sculpts, textures, maps and materials
• Use existing or downloaded 3D props from the different libraries
• Actively accept and implement feedback from the Creative or Art Director
• Work well under deadlines in a collaborative environment; be self-motivated
• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications both by hand and using CAD software
• Keep Artistic style consistent with defined visuals
• To interpret and follow reference materials to create a clean, detailed and accurate 3D environment and set

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Our ideal 3D Environment Artist/Architect will have

• Minimum of 1-year experience with Revit or Rhino 3D
• A portfolio with examples of architectural work
• Ability to model, sculpt and texture environmental assets and surfaces in any major 3D app like Maya, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D or Blender
• Strong creative and Visualization skills
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
