    Director (Medical Laboratory Scientist)

    Qualifications

    • Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree from an approved institution or a Fellowship Diploma of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science (IMLS) plus postgraduate professional qualification (M.Sc or Ph..D).
    • Candidates must also be registered members of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science of Nigeria (IMLSN) with a minimum post qualification experience of not less than 15 years.
    • In addition, applicants must have completed the NYSC Programme or be exempted from it. Possession of current professional practicing license is mandatory.
    • Applicants below the level of an Assistant /Deputy Director (Medical Laboratory Scientist) on CONHESS 14 need not apply
    • Applicants must have five credit passes (Including English Language and Mathematics) in WASCE/GCE/NECO at not more than TWO sittings from the same examination body.

    Condition of Service
    These are similar to those obtained in the Federal Public Service.

    Salary
    CONHESS 15 - N4,233,344.00 - N5,139,000.00 pa

    Method of Application
