Manager, Civil Engineering at Rivers State Government

Responsibilities

• To develop, evaluate and negotiate contracts. Oversee, supervise and coordinate civil works. Manage infrastructure and engineering/construction projects.
• Ensure enforcement and close-out of observation/issues on project under supervision within stipulated time.
• Prepare project reports for Management.

Qualification and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management with at least 2 class lower
• Minimum of 12 years relevant experience obtained from reputable construction firms.
• A combination of training, education and experience in procedure and projects management practices.
• Professional affiliation with a recognized professional Engineering body including the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).
• Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
• Must be knowledgeable in CAD.
• Masters degree in Civil Engineering could be an added advantage.
