Hardware Engineer at Talent Bureau

Job Description

• Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements
• Prepare functional requirements and specification for hardware acquisitions.
• Ensure that problems with operational hardware have been properly identified
• Assist with preparing installation guides, field test procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Conduct sites surveys, assess and document current site network configuration and requirements
• Recommend specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Prepare engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages.
• Develop hardware installation schedules based upon set-up, integration and test timelines.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or related discipline
• Seven (7) years experience analyzing complex hardware systems
• Digital Signal Processing and Field Programmable Gate Array design and implementation
• Strong communication skills, communicating with internal and external engineers
• Experience with hardware descriptor languages such as Verilog or VHDL is an asset
• Strong sense of responsibility, commitment to quality and ability to achieve deadlines
