NDE Supervisor/Manager (NDEMGR) at Daewoo Nigeria Limited

Duties & Responsibilities

•     Perform material identification and traceability through applicable heal numbers
•     Review of Mill Test Reports [MTR] for piping items and welding consumables
•     Verification of availability & control of welding consumables
•     Identify welds for Post Weld Heat Treatment [PWHT] and provide instructions
•     Periodic inspections to ensure correct Welding Procedure Specifications [WPS] are being used
•     Review Radiographic Testing [RT] films and Accept/Reject RT reports provided.
•     Review and accept/reject all other NDE reports PWHT reports
•     Verify hydro-test arrangements and check Non Destructive Examination [NDE] completion for compliance to code and client requirement.

Qualification & Experience

•     Minimum of university degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent, ASNT LEVEL II
•     10 years experience in NDE works in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical facilities projects
•     Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test API 510 and Valid Eye Test.
