Qualifications:

• Bsc Radiography
• RRBN professional certification

Responsibilities:

• To act as the attending Consultant’s Clinical assistant
• Performs X-rays for patients as directed.
• Keeps an accurate ledger of all X-rays and scans done
• Generates weekly report for the radiology department
• Ensures the X-ray processor is maintained monthly by the technician
• Ensures regular update of lead lining certification by relevant authority
• Ensures the processor chemicals are always available for the technician’s use
• Performs monthly stock taking
• Liaise with radiologist for reporting of all x-rays and scans and keep a record of his/her visits
• Input all scan and x-ray results in EMR
• Responsible for periodic update of radiology SOPs based on changes that are approved by the technical director
