HSE OFFICER

Location: Apapa, Lagos.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
General Health, Safety and Environmental duties:

• Effect the application of effective Health, Safety and Environmental Management of the jetty.
• Management of HSE Policy.
• Risk Assessment and Environmental challenges of the jetty amongst others.
• Other HSE related functions.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e. Occupational Health, Safety Science Tech. Engr. and other related fields).
• HSE related Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC will be an added advantage.
• Computer literacy - MS Office applications, in particular
• Excellent organizational and Presentation skills, with an ability to take initiative and prioritize important tasks.
• Cognate experience in Maritime and Port terminal operation for 2-3 years
• Must not be more than 35years old.

• Proactive, autonomy, planning, analytical, clear communication, work under pressure, ability to facilitate change, persuade and negotiate to reach acceptable compromise/solutions among all levels in the organization.
