Reporting Line: Account Manager

Job Responsibilities
Payroll Preparation:

• Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
• Updates paper and electronic payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers and changes in status.
• Prepare monthly payroll summary
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures
• Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management

Cash Operation:

• Maintenance of impress system
• Documentation and filing of cash disbursement
• Preparation of daily report
• Follow-up on cash advance to employees yet to be accounted for

Others:

• Daily file updating – fuel, vehicle expenses, escort services etc.
• Other tasks that may be assigned by the HOD

Qualifications & Skills Requirements

• Strong communication, good presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with different accounting package
• Self-motivation and personal drive.
• HND /B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Accounting, Social Sciences and other related discipline.
• Graduate in Accounting, Social Sciences other related discipline.
• Professional qualification will be an advantage

Other requirements:

• Good English speaking skills, verbal and written.
• Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Energy Level, Negotiation, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning, Independence, Motivation for Sales
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a salary officer role
• Proficient use of Microsoft applications, enhanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint etc.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a hectic accounting environment.
