HMO Officer at Paelon Memorial Clinic

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any field; Strong communication skills (HMO experience is an added advantage.)

Job Description:

• Responsible for all non-cash paying patients
• To be responsible for the management of the health insurance desk.
• To review each HMO/Insurer the clinic partners with periodically.
• Assist in preparation of health insurance bids.
• To be abreast of happenings in the health insurance industry and economy in general with a view of identifying business opportunities.
• Prepare and submit medical claims form to various insurance companies, either soft or hard copies.
• Evaluate patients’ financial status, establish budget payment plans, and follow up on payments and reports status of delinquent account.
• Answer questions from patients, clerical staff and insurance companies.
• Identifies and resolves HMO patients billing complaints.
• Prepare reviews and send HMO patients statements.
• Review accounts for possible assignments and make recommendations.
• Extracting monthly private patients’ dues on INSTA and giving the information to the Business Development Officer.
• Provided administrative support (i.e. answering phones, and scheduling appointments).
• Management of front desk activities on weekends.
