Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose:The purpose of this role is designing, building, and implementing an integration architecture to enable productivity, allow for rapid integration of internal and cloud solutions, and promote a highly decoupled application ecosystem. The incumbent will work closely with our architects and project teams to design, develop, implement and support integration solutions across the enterprise. This individual will bring a deep understanding of modern integration practices and implement robust integration solutions to enable key business processes across the Organization.

Responsibilities

• Define the systems integration needed to deliver the reengineering and platform change, including defining the interface needs, the integration technology needs, and the transitionary steps needed to ensure continuity of the systems, data and business. 
• Define the integration and dataflow architectures and designing the APIs that can be a point of stability that endures as the platform technologies around them changes.
• Create and manage a best-in-class and complete external-facing API layer for business-partner integration to support external thick- clients and third-party applications
• Collaborate with the support-teams around production incidents involving integration to directly or indirectly ensure their timely resolution and recovery and preventive measures are taken to avoid recurrence. 
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to understand changes made to the software under test
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases and ensure traceability with software requirements
• Assemble the solution/product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behaviour, interactions and performance
• Ensure and confirm that the solution/product requirement designs are fulfilled
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering team in order to ensure software-system consistency.
• Ensure the right contribution of software components to the systems integration & verification / configuration

The Ideal candidate must have:

• Analytical design approach and demonstrated experience in software engineering and programming skills
• Back End experience with Python
• API development, integration, and utilization
• Experience in designing, leading and implementing technology solutions
• Strong knowledge of security standards, practices, and architecture

Experience:

Full stack cloud software development experienceand3+ years of software development experience strong programming, and engineering skills.
