Platform Product Manager at TechAdvance

Reporting Line: Chief Innovation Officer

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Purpose: The Platform Product Manager will help platform projects run smoothly and on time. This role will prioritize, organize, and manage platform projects and resources.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage platform sprints with product managers, addressing any blockers to keep the tech team productive;
• Manage weekly list of platform priorities and relaying them to the teams, following-up on deliverables as necessary;
• Track all platform projects and communicate status to management via status report and other tools;
• Ensure clear and consistent communication to/from platform team and other internal departments, specifically professional services, so that customer deliverables that require platform resources are scheduled and managed appropriately;
• Streamline processes so that teams are efficient and effective; this includes refining sprint planning processes, minimizing internal meetings and helping platform engineers maximize productivity by being the first line of defense for platform team questions and proactively communicating to other team members via status reports and other means;

The ideal candidate must have;

·         Proven ability to multitask across numerous projects at once;

• History of working across different departments and driving projects to successful completion;
• Ability to create project plans and manage all aspects of execution;
• Excellent communication with ability to manage any situation professionally and diplomatically;

Experience:

Very strong experience in product management and 4 or more years’ experience designing and delivering world-class products in a Middle Management role.
