    Deputy Client Service Manager

    Details:

    Job Description

    • Respond to request for proposal (RFPs), develop media plans in line with strategic marketing goals.
    • Managing the client relationship through effective communication, problem solving, and responding to requests.
    • Taking client communication briefs and, where required, supporting the Strategy team with drafting creative briefs.
    • Coordination of process within the Agency from Creative, Media, Production and Strategy to achieve smooth running of the campaign.
    • Presenting and selling creative work.
    • Conduct a Bi-Monthly competitive review of all the brands within your care.
    •  Ensuring that project deadlines and budgets are met, communicating and seeking approval of any changes to these.
    • Quick responds and follow up on inquires/queries from brand contacts.
    • Identifying ways to grow client accounts through new business opportunities.
    • Develop and maintaining good job bag and billing system which must be shared monthly
    • Managing the work and performance of team members e.g. Account Executive.
    • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
    • Working with Finance to limit write offs, bill client accurately, chase unpaid invoices, do reconciliations and grow company revenue.
    • Update contract management system with campaign change orders (campaign delays, optimizations, etc.) and alert team of changes that will affect revenue.
    • Reduce account attrition by ensuring program goals are met and exceeded
    • Ensure all reports gets to clients on time with zero error tolerance

    Skills 

    • Must have excellent reporting standards and ability to work unsupervised.
    • Proven track record of managing accounts successfully.
    • Good negotiating skills with both Client and Suppliers
    • Fluent, clear and articulate in verbal communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm when presenting.
    • Strong marketing thinking and understanding of the communication disciplines.
    • Exemplary client service skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships.
    • Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail.
    • Well-developed inter-personal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders.
    • Very good understanding of the social media universe and comfortable with communication tools online.
    • Ability to manage crises as it arises
    • Excellent speaking and presentation skills.

    Qualification / Work Experience

    • 3 - 5 years’ Progressive  experience  in an Advertising Agency
    • BSc / HND in Marketing , Mass Communication or  in  related field of study
    • Certified member of APCON
    • A male candidate will be prefered .
