Area Sales Manager at Sun King (Formerly Greenlight Planet)

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the field support team comprising a large on roll & off role field sales staff to accelerate partners' on-ground performance through local activation, training and problem-solving activities
• As new channel partnerships emerge, work closely with the partner's management and Greenlight's teams to rapidly drive activation plans and execution
• Managing relationships with senior leadership and middle management at partner organizations.
• Solving problems, motivate, and establish herself/himself as a trusted adviser
• Coordinating with Greenlight's operations, training and product teams to serve partner needs
• Planning and forecasting sales in tandem with the partner organizations
• Delivering on aggressive growth and revenue targets
• Ensuring proper documentation and timely reports

Requirements
The Ideal Area Sales Manager:

• Is Mission-driven, entrepreneurial and passionate about making a significant difference in the world
• Has not less than 3 years’ experience in partnership sales, field sales, distribution and rural markets and exposure to multiple operational models
• Can work independently and creatively in a fast-growing global enterprise
• Likes getting hands on and is willing to spend 10-15 days a month on the road interacting with resellers, customers and partners
• Is a natural people-person, one that thrives off of building strong relationships both within the organization and externally
• Has exemplary business development skills necessary to gain partner trust and buy-in on prioritized objectives
