    Proposed Salary: N200,000 per month

    Job Summary

    The Support Service Manager is to coordinate and supervise internal and external operations for all retail outlets and head office in terms of administrative management, facility (and asset) maintenance and management, procurement, inventory and supply chain management.

    Description Of Responsibilities

    • Provide general administrative and support services including catering, security, cleaning, health and safety and environmental regulations and vehicle repairs and maintenance.
    • Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary and cost optimisation.
    • Manage key suppliers/vendors to ensure a secure and sustainable supply chain and make sure all procurement transactions comply with the organisation’s rules and regulations.
    • Monitor and report costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.
    • Ensure all company assets and properties are correctly labelled/tag for easy tracking.
    • Provide logistic delivery services as per assigned schedules and service levels.
    • Ensure the office function effectively on a day-to-day basis, and provide a safe, efficient and comfortable working environment for staff.
    • Responsible for the management of the office premises and equipment including co-ordinating repairs, maintenance and tradespersons operational activities.
    • Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.).
    • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
    • Ensure compliance with government health and sanitation standards.
    • Reviewing and documenting equipment, products and service contract with vendors.
    • Allocate office space and work tools to new and existing employees.
    • Overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals.
    • Ensure support service operations adhere to policies and regulations.
    • Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Operations Officer.

    Requirements And Qualifications

    • Minimum of a First Degree. Membership of any relevant professional body is an added advantage;
    • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in similar managerial role;
    • Candidate must be proficient in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint for proposals, reporting and presentations;
    • Sound business acumen with knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles;
    • Excellent organizational and leadership capacities;
    • Budgeting and financial planning and reporting;
    • Problem-solving skills and analytical mind;
    • Critical Thinking skills Ability to manage and motivate team members to meet and surpass set targets;
    • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills. Able to resolve conflicts and ensure that solutions are expressed clearly and effectively to avoid future re-occurrence;
    • Sound understanding of optimization of outlet operations and standards for success.
