Conduct information system feasibility study with a view to effecting improvement
Write software codes in conformance to architectural design and CNL’s methodology, standards and specifications
Contribute to the software development and deployment process (i.e. code comments, software development, testing, deployment, etc.) in line with the software development lifecycle
Ensure projects are effectively prepared and deployed on schedule and to quality
Engage in software code maintenance/improvement with a view to optimizing, improving existing features and correcting software defects.
Contribute to the development/adherence to CNL’s software operational policies and procedures including information confidentiality
Prepare periodic reports on project progress and team operations
Maintain regular interactions with key internal/external stakeholders in ensuring holistic partnerships and customer service/satisfaction
Continuously analyze existing business and industry trends with a view to identify potential business opportunities.
The post holder maybe required to take on other responsibilities in line with business demands.
Requirements, Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two+ years of experience with Java 7+ in a corporate environment
Three+ years of experience with Android API, SDK, and Native Android Development
Two+ apps on app stores
Experience with Kotlin a plus
Must have a love for visual design and UX
Up and current with trending development tools and workflows including TFS and GitHub.
C# or JAVA Development with MVC Pattern
Restful API in JAVA or C#; logging frameworks such as Log4j or Log4Net or similar frameworks
Strong experience with OOP and Database ORM such as Entity Framework
Experience with cloud messaging API’s, offline storage, background processing, threading, and performance tuning, caching and performance optimization.
Experience with Application Security.
Skills:
Ability to work with sprint, Agile Development and with SCRUM masters
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
