Personal Driver to the Director of Strategy at ConnectRail Service Limited

The personal drivers are required to help their employer commute from one place to another or help them is sending personal packages somewhere they wish.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• It is the responsibility of a personal driver to maintain the vehicle or all the vehicles of the employer by keeping them clean and in running state.
• It is the responsibility of a personal driver to take the vehicle (s) or send them to a repair shop/ garage for repairs when needed.
• It is the responsibility of a personal driver to abide by the rules and regulations laid down by the state authorities to avoid any mishaps/accidents.
• It is the responsibility of a personal driver to make sure that in case of making a delivery for the employer, the package is delivered in the best condition and in a timely fashion.
• It is the responsibility of a personal driver to take care of the safety of those who are traveling with him/ her in the vehicle.
• It is the responsibility of a personal driver to keep all the documents of the vehicle and his/ her license in place while driving any vehicle.
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
• Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car

REQUIREMENT

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma
• Must stay in Obalende /VI/Lekki/Ajah axis
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• Ability to remain calm/polite in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
