Scaffold Work Preparer at Pivot GIS Limited

Qualified candidates should have the following:

OND or Equivalent in Engineering or Science with computer literacy and CISRS Certified.
 With 10 years scaffolding experience out of which 5 years is in Leadsman position or 3 years as a Scaffold Supervisor
 
Basic Functions:

To prepare work package for scaffold jobs assigned to the team.  Work with Scaffold Engineer to ensure adequate package is prepared
 
Principal Responsibilities:

• Work with the Planning and Scheduling team to obtain the list of Job Requests assigned to the team ahead of scheduling for execution.
•  Carry out site visit with requestor, make all clarifications as to what the requestor intend to use scaffold for, determine what type of scaffold, estimate material take off, number of teams, man-hour required.  Package all Technical Documentation required for the execution of the jobs in compliance with the requirement of Nigerian LNG Work Package template.

Technical / Business Skills

Deep knowledge and vast hand-on experience in scaffold erection, modification and dismantling.
 Proper understanding of the various types of scaffolds and their usage.
 
Interpersonal Skills / Competencies:

•  Should be a Team player with good interpersonal relationship, demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
•   The ability to work extra hours to ensure that workmanship is done according to international and company’s standards and procedures.  
•  Strong customer service and attention to detail.   Strong leadership skills, communication and listening skills, strong organizational skills, strong multi-tasking skill, team oriented and ability delegate.  Working knowledge in gas and plant, refinery or similar industrial environment.
