Logistics Specialist at RS Hunter Limited

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping, Stock receipt and distribution

• Manage, organize and control stock movements and storage in the warehouse
• Manage the operational execution of all logistical and shipping activities
• Formulation of the logistical strategy plan with the line managers
• Reducing overall stock holding, implementing JIT concept
• Manage the shipping process of products, both local and international
• PO management

Reporting

• Submit daily status reports on all shipments
• Reporting on all stock holding for dry goods and finished product
• Various supply chain and financial reporting

Knowledge:

• Understanding of the day-to-day operations of a business
• Understanding of FMCG operations
• Understanding of procurement procedures

Requirements

MIN REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

3 year(s) working experience as a laboratory analyst

MIN QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's Degree/HND in chemistry, food science or microbiology, or any related field

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Membership of a professional body will be an added advantage
