    Area Marketing Manager

    Responsibilities:

    MANAGE RESOURCES, PRODUCT, AND COMPANY ASSETS

    • Directs resources day-to-day
    • Manages product and staff budget
    • Responsible for all on-site activations in open – market / streets / neighbourhoods / schools etc.

    DEVELOP MARKETING ACTIVITY ROUTE MAPS AND SCHEDULES

    • Organizes and communicates schedule
    • Prepares budget for the activity
    • Produces and updates activity calendars
    • Coordinate all activity logistics with team
    • Connects directly with the in-house team/rsm’s/ brand managers
    • Confirms event logistics prior to the activity
    • Ensure activity protocol alignment

    LEAD ON-SITE MARKETING ACTIVATIONS

    • Leads all activatin execution
    • Makes logistical adjustments in real time
    • Ensures brand messaging quality
    • Ensure look/feel standards met

    Requirements:

    • Must be ready to live in the designated area - strong geographic knowledge of the market is a must; familiarity with the surrounding region and past experience in the seasoning cubes and spices category is a plus.
    • Graduate/ Post-graduate in Marketing / Communications or a related major
    • 3+ years of Field Marketing or Brand Activations experience with budget accountability, ideally with a seasoning cubes or a beverage company
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some early mornings, nights and weekends and rigorous travel
    • Must have a passion for consumer engagement activities and act as a steward for the brand.
    • Experience and a proven track record of success with activity planning and/or project management
    • Experience training & managing a team
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task
    • Able to work independently, prefer autonomy and can deal with a wide range of personalities
    • Strong technology skills - specifically knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, experience with internet research and social media
    • A clean driving record
    • Fluency in Yoruba is a plus
