 Our Client is a leading EPC Company in Nigeria. They are seeking to recruit capable and talented professionals with proven relevant experience and track record to join the team. He/she will be involved in Structural design, technology, installation, field development, FEED studies, conceptual work and front end studies. He/she will be involved in all aspects of project phases from conceptual development, design, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

General:
Assist in supervising the team of engineers undertaking Structural design elements in terms of organization, the verification and progress follow-up of the project.
Responsible for technical supervision and document checking.
Ensure that the engineering work is performed in accordance with the latest HSEQ and International standards and codes.
Project Management
Ensure that the engineering work is carried out in accordance with procedures and industry standards.
Assist in proposing engineering budgets at tender stage and revised budgets at projects stage.
Monitor engineering man-hours expenses at project stage.
Review engineering deliverables at tender stage and during project.
Tenders:
Prepares and checks preliminary studies for design and/or installation.
Prepares and checks preliminary technical and operating plan.
Prepares estimation of engineering man-hours and time estimates for operations.
Projects:

• Prepares, checks and delivers calculation notes for design and installation
• Prepares and delivers installation procedures (including material and equipment list, planning,)
• Prepares and delivers requisitions and/or specifications.
• For the successful Senior Structural Engineer, you will have;
• Good first degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or relevant discipline. A master’s degree in a relevant engineering field will be an added advantage
• The candidate must have at least eight (8) – ten (10) years relevant post qualification experience in the Pipeline design engineering function of a reputable oil and gas organization.
