Finance Manager at Ascentech Services Limited

POSITION CONCEPT:  Analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans.

DUTIES.
 
PRIMARY TASK MANAGEMENT

• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Predict future financial trends
• Report to management and provide advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
• Direct and manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents and reports
• Review financial and legal documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Analyze current finances and develop budgets for the following period/year
• Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
• Ensure that the Finance team to comply with the company’s rules and regulations.

REPORTING

Prepare monthly field reports to your superiors

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years’ experience.  2 years should be in a managerial position
• BA/BSc in Accounting
• Professional Certification with a recognized Accounting body Method of Application
