Depot Female Accountant at Myjoy Food Industries Limited

Job Description

• Accountable for cash receipt at the depot;
• Responsible for the daily banking activity of the depot;
• Issuing invoices/receipts to the customers based on cash collected;
• Ensuring that the invoices values tally with the cash sales receipts;
• Making calls and taking orders from customers;
• Maintaining proper and daily records of all the transactions at the depot;
• Sending reports of all the transactions at the depot (Sales figure, closing stock, cash lodgement in the bank etc.) to the management on daily basis;
• Checking the book balance of products with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues and pilferage;
• Maintain daily account of the daily transactions
• Balance the daily account at the end of each day
• Solve all the cash related queries
• Report discrepancies found within the accounts to the superiors/Manager and head office immediately
• Keep the work area tidy and clean
• Adhere to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedure in the company
• Carry out other tasks that maybe assigned to you periodically

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Accountancy from a reputable University/Polytechnic
• Must have at least 4 years of cognate experiences in reputable organizations
• Must be proficient in the use MS Excel & MS words
• Must be smart, trustworthy, transparent and analytical in nature
• Must be resident in Omole/Ojodu Berger areas of Lagos
