    Lead, Instrumentation

    Job Description

    • The Electrical / Instrument Supervisor will exhibit exemplary safety and managerial leaderuhip in all matters pertaining to electrical and instrumentation maintenance works on and around the Vessel.
    • He is responsible for ensuring his subordinates are competent to carry out their allotted tasks and confirming and clarifying the status of electrical personnel, (whether UAE, CEP or EQ etc.).
    • He will liaise effectively with other key management personnel.

    Roles / Responsibilities

    • Maintain and adjust the condition of electrical and instrument assets; Monitor and assess the performance and condition of electrical and instrument assets;
    • Respond promptly to problems in line with approved procedures; Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures;
    • Manage and Supervise effectively; Emergency Response; Provide any additional duties as required by the OIM /Unit Spt and/or HOD to maintain safe and efficient running of the Unit.

    Experience/Competence

    • Proven experience and/or qualified to HNC/HND in Instrumentation and/or Electronics, or recognised equivalent; 10 years experience desired with offshore experience preferred;
    • Supervisory experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical/Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment; Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities;
    • Experience in Safety and Environmental Management Systems; COMP ex Course; Preferred courses achieved: HV Protection and HV/LV Switching; Medically ft to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent
    • Technical: Good levels of written and spoken communication; Exemplary awareness of safety issues and leadership.
    • Conscientious, flexible, versatile and determined; Use standard Management System Office package electronic mail system a software and equipment as required.
