Operates and works on extruder machine with little or no supervision to achieve desired outputs (ie dismantling , coupling, etc as required during production run).
Ensures that the right packaging and raw materials are used for the shift Operations.
Carries out daily/monthly reconciliation of materials (inputs & Outputs).
Monitors and arranges production operatives to achieve optimum utilization and outputs.
Ensures that the machine downtime and waste are monitored and kept at minimal levelthroughout the shift.
Ensures clean work environment and strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Ensures that the daily targets are met with minimal wastage, optimal quality and outputs.
Ensures compliance with 5s principles, Kaizen and other processes.
Job Requirements Education:
Minimum of OND in Food Science & Technology.
B.Sc/HND in Food technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry & Industrial Sciences is an advantage.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years in production operations in a Cereal or related industrial (food) setup.
