Travel: Local project travel to states within Nigeria
Programme Overview
The programme in Nigeria aims to improve access to essential health commodities for HIV/AIDS, malaria, family planning and maternal newborn and child health to transform supply chains across three states: Kebbi, Sokoto and Bauchi.
Every1Mobile is the digital lead tasked to research, design and implement a range of digital learning and e-commerce solutions and strategies.
Role Overview
The Snr Project Coordinator function at E1M is for a talented and experienced Project Coordinator, based in Abuja, to manage an in-country team and help deliver the project on time and on budget. The successful candidate will work closely with Every1Mobile’s Senior Project Manager (also based in Abuja) to manage the Project Team, our on the ground Engagement Managers (Kebbi, Sokoto, and Bauchi) and coordinate project deliverables & communication. This role is responsible for the strategic implementation & delivery of our programmes, ensuring we deliver real, measurable impact to our users and high quality services to our clients.
For the duration of the project, you will work regularly with the Programme Director, Programme Design Team, Snr Project Manager, Head of Content, Head of Design and Software Development team management to monitor and guide progress of the project and ensure excellent standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Initiate local relevant research as required
- Liaise with local partners who may be delivering project components
- Liaise with our marketing functions on sourcing local program collateral
- Build positive working relationships with our clients with the aim of improving program processes and turnaround times on items which require client approval
- Support the recruitment and ongoing management of the Abuja & state teams working on this project
- Create work plans for each project element at a detail according to their scale to be reviewed with Project Manager
- Assist in the management of the project budget
- Work with E1M internal experts and external consultants where appropriate to help devise successful strategies for each element of project delivery to the client's objectives and targets
- Monitor the project's delivery using various project tools, E1M's data analytics capability and user feedback
- Support in the writing of monthly, quarterly, end of year and ad hoc project reports to the client & internally
Experience & Qualification Requirements
Essential
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in running complex projects in a multi-stakeholder environment
- Highly organised, self-starting and efficient with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken communicator and a real team player
- Excellent client facing skills
- Hands on with project management tools, and Excel & PowerPoint to a good standard
- Familiarity with a range of online and social media platforms and technology as many project components will be delivered on one or more online platform
- Solid experience in project management / project coordination
- Confident in overseeing the work of others
- Confident in delivering when under pressure
- Able to multi-task
- Fluent in English and Hausa
Desirable
- Experience of the International Development Sector
- Experience in content production
Personal Capabilities
- Be a team player with the ability to collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Community Managers and Engagement Managers across Kebbi, Sokoto, and Bauchi
- Ability to brainstorm and present creative ideas to the team, partners and clients
- Writing and presentation skills are required
