    Field Coordinator - Education and Livelihood

    Duty station: Mubi, Nigeria

    Qualification: Bachelor minimum

    Experience: 2 years minimum, in education, business, management and any relevant area

    Job Summary

    • Coordination and implementation of the field activities, including education (monitoring of schools, SBMCs, teachers…), livelihood (IGAs, business skills), finance and logistics management.
    • Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably related to development or humanitarian studies, education and/or livelihood, with at least 2-3 years’ work experience.
    • Prior experience working with civil society organizations and governmental authorities in Nigeria
    • Possess excellent report writing, leadership, facilitation, analytical and strategizing skills
    • Able to communicate in at least one of the local languages (Fulani, Hausa…)

    Key Roles/Responsibilities:

    • Ensure monitoring and data collection of key project indicators
    • Analyze data and share lessons learnt to suggest best practices for the project
    • Support assessment of education in northeast Nigeria, reviewing and updating education changes
    • Provide weekly and monthly progressive reports to the supervisor
    • Responsible for community mobilization
    • Identify education needs collaborating with local Education stakeholders, including a 3W mapping
    • Implement the project according to objectives and indicators agreed
    • Ideal experience working with IDPs, refugees or other vulnerable populations
    • Coordinate with local government authorities.
    • Suggest improvement of the education projects in line with international standards in education in emergencies
    • Support teachers, SBMCs and pupils, reinforcing their capacities and well being
