    Marketing Manager

    Job Description

    • Coordinate the development of the strategies and policies of Marketing in accordance with the strategy of the company.
    • Drive the long-term direction and performance of the company through the development of brand strategies and marketing programs.
    • Lead the planning process for the company’s portfolio of brand in the market, and develop major strategic documents.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends for range of products under portfolio.
    • Organise the launch of new products and review the current portfolio in order to better position the products.
    • Initiate and manage below-the-line (off-trade, on-trade, wholesale, secondary packaging) as well as advertising and PR projects.
    • Propose and manage budgets, provide regular budget updates and forecasts throughout the year.
    • Re-allocate budgets between brands as needed throughout the year.
    • Take responsibility for day to day management of direct reports and their training and development needs
    • Drive the development of the company’s brands in the markets.
    • Liaise with other internal departments such as sales and production producing reports to monitor results
    • Organise and facilitate consumer research projects that will serve the business.
    • Work in promoting the brands of the company to yield results.
    • Develop a common sets of tools and practices across to create awareness of the company’s brands.

    Expectations

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business, Pharmacy or relevant course. Master's Degree is an added advantage
    • Minimum of 8 years experience with a multinational pharmaceutical company, with at least 4 years in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Product Management
    • Ability to manage a team and launch new products
    • Excellent networking, interpersonal skills and influencing skills.
    • Good people management and leadership skills.
