Minimum of OND in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) from a reputable institution and CISRS certification in Scaffold inspection + minimum of 5 years scaffolding experience with at least 2 years’ experience in Scaffold inspection.
Must be a team player, oral and written communication skills, the ability to work extra hours to ensure that workmanship is done according to international and company's standards and procedures.
Basic functions include inspection of scaffold erection and dismantling process.
Ensure the right materials and fitting are used for the various types of scaffolding systems for the safety of the end users and the environment. Understand and carry out routine inspection of existing scaffold to ensure continuous suitability for purpose. Monitor weather conditions around existing scaffolds to ensure re-inspections are carried out after adverse weather conditions. Keep accurate record of inspection and re-validation records.
Prepare and submit inspection reports as required by scaffold coordinator
