How do you go from being good to great?
Well, you could do a lot of things but you could actually do one thing. Today, we are suggesting you take time to identify and find out what problems the company is grabbing with. What problems or challenges are you seeing in your department, in your team? Then, figure out a way to build a solution for that problem. If you really want to be indispensable in your team or company, you need to be a problem solver. So, take a look around your company, what issues are they grabbing with that you can build or come up with solutions. It could be as simple as automating repetitive tasks.
Companies and businesses are looking for solution architects. Someone who can quickly spot an issue most preferably before it happens and offer workable solutions to them. These are the type of people that get promoted faster and are given more responsibilities. And guess what? The reward for hard work is harder work, so don’t feel bad if you are given more responsibilities as you progress.
What is important is for them to identify your potential and what you can do. That is the way to climb the ladder of promotion faster.
