Ready for today’s challenge?

If you are like me, sometimes you wish you can be productive all day long and often times you wonder why you seem more productive in the morning and gradually seem to be less productive as the day progresses.

According to research, most people are productive between the hours of 8am and just before 2.30.  It is usually referred to as a post-lunch slump. After this time, productivity drops, the brain gets tired more easily and there is a tendency to procrastinate more.

A lot of reasons have been found to be responsible for this. Lack of sleep, lack of preparedness etc. but there is a secret that can help you boost productivity all through the day.

Do you want me to reveal the secret now? Okay, here is it: Drinking more water.

According to research conducted by a University in London, drinking water can actually boost productivity by more than 14%. This is because when you drink water, it relieves dehydration that saps energy and creates tiredness.

So how many cups of water should you drink per day? For men, 13 cups of water is recommended while women are to take 9 cups of water every day.

Feeling less productive? Feeling drowsy? Instead of taking that coffee, why not drink water instead.

Now that is all for today’s challenge. Join us on our LinkedIn and let us know how you are faring.
