So ready for today’s challenge?
Yesterday, you took out time to set some goals for yourself. But, do you know there is a better way to set goals and achieve better results? This method has been used by big companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon and tons of others.
As a new manager, it is your responsibility to have a system you can rely on so everyone on your team can be on the same page while working towards the same goal.
This system or framework that I want to introduce you to is called OKR.
OKR is an acronym that stands for Objective and Key Results. Here is a sample OKR you can use. I suggest you have 3 objectives per quarter. Then each of your 3 objectives can have 3 key results you want to be measuring.
Objective: Increase employee engagement
Key Results:
If you are in marketing, here is a sample OKR to get you creative.

Objective: Achieve record revenues while increasing profitability
Now that is all for today’s challenge. Join us on our LinkedIn and let us know how you are faring
