Finance and Account Manager at The Citadel Global Community Church

Job Overview

• We are looking to employ a Finance & Account Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the company.
• The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong competence at a managerial level in both finance and accounts, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the organization.
• This role also requires flexibility, as the candidate must be willing to work on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial and accounting operations of the organisation
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and management reports.
• Manage cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Supervise account operations including payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Perform any other finance and account-related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly desired.
• Must have 5–7 years proven experience in finance and accounting at a managerial level.

Requirements:

• Strong competence in both finance and accounts.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
