Global Profilers is a Recruitment & HR Services firm specialized in recruitment in Africa; we are currently looking for a Regional Sales and Acquisition Manager for our client who is a Leading Global Supplier of Technology and Services.
Functional Area: Packaging Technology
- In close cooperation with our base sales offices in all the Organization’s Packaging Technology facilities in European, Asian and South American countries (centers of competence), you will be responsible to make the organization’s market and sales strategy happen in Western Africa.
- Your task will be to support our existing customers with their needs for new packaging machinery and their service tasks for the existing machine platforms, but you will also look out for new opportunities with new customers in your sales area. Our customer’s targets will become your challenges with regard to technologies, developments and specific machine and system solutions and you will need to develop a feeling for each project with regard to its realization chances.
- You will review, filter and finally feed all this information to our base centers of competence where it will be processed into solutions and proposals. In close cooperation with your sales partners in the centers of competence, you will bring these concepts to the customers and will convince them of the Organization’s superb solutions, mature technology and the customized fit for the packaging challenges of the future.
- By travelling around 80%, you will be very close to your customers and will be their primary contact person for all the Organization’s Packaging applications.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, ideally combined with commercial skills
- At least 5-10 years of experience in the field of food processing and packaging industry
- You are a good team player, but on the other hand you are capable of operating on your own as the primary sales contact for our customers and us
- Clear understanding of the economic situation and its characteristics in your sales area
- Outstanding customer orientation, accompanied by high social competence, distinctive communication talents and negotiation skills
- Fluent in French and English, any other languages are a plus
- Good technical analysis and logical thinking, solution-orientated
- Willingness to travel
