    Commissioning Electrical Supervisor

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Testing and Commissioning of HV & LV equipment, Power Transformers, Motors, VFD
    • Drive, UPS & Battery System, Heat Tracing, Capacitor Bank, Lightning Arrestors, Power
    • Cable, Earth System, Lighting, and Outlets.
    • Handled the HV & LV Electrical Equipment Testing and Commissioning.
    • Testing and Commissioning of HV & LV Motors.
    • Testing of Protection Relays
    • Handled the Power Transformer Oil filtration and Transformer testing.
    • Handled the Battery Acid filling, Charging and Discharging and UPS Commissioning.
    • Testing and Commissioning of Heat tracing, Capacitor Bank, Power cable (Hi-pot) Earth
    • Resistance, Lighting, Welding Socket.
    • Monitoring the QC for quality-related inspection and communicating with the EPC contractor
    • Guiding the subordinates to meet the technical clarification and execution.
    • Involved in all safety-related toolbox talk and adapting the same at the site.
    • Coordinates commissioning punch list clearance activities with project team groups
    • Reports progress, performance, issues, and challenges to the Commissioning Manager
    • Ensure that all HSE and Permit to Work Requirements are in place for the discipline requirements during the Commissioning Phases of the Project at the location.
    • Ensure that adequate discipline resources, manpower and test equipment are available from the Subcontractor to perform the discipline commissioning activities, throughout all Phases of the Project, to maintain the project schedule requirements.
    • Utilize a complete management system for the preparation, execution and monitoring of discipline Commissioning activities.
    • Handling various Testing Equipment’s such as FREJA 300, CT Analyzer/OMICRON, CPC100/OMICRON, SWERKER 300,760/PROGRAMMA, and Breaker Analyzer TM1600, several kinds of Primary Injection kits, Breaker analyzers and High voltage Equipment’s.
    • Scheme & Functional check for 13.8, 33kV switchgear, ABB, Siemens, and Schneider.
    • Scheme & Functional check for Line Protection Panel.
    • Scheme & Functional check for transformer Protection panel.

    Academic Qualification:

    • HND/BSc in relevant discipline

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Electrical Testing and Commissioning.

    Plant Commissioning Specialist

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Developing comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules, coordinating activities with various stakeholders including engineers, contractors, and vendors.
    • Reviewing engineering designs, specifications, and equipment manuals to ensure readiness for commissioning activities. This may involve inspecting equipment and systems to verify compliance with standards and specifications.
    • Overseeing the execution of commissioning activities, including equipment installation, system testing, functional checks, and performance verification. This involves troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring that all systems are operating according to design requirements.
    • Maintaining detailed records of commissioning activities, test results, and equipment performance. Generating reports to document the commissioning process and communicate progress to project stakeholders.
    • Providing training to operations and maintenance personnel on the newly commissioned systems and equipment. Facilitating the smooth transition of the plant from commissioning to operations phase.
    • Ensuring that all commissioning activities are conducted safely and in compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Identifying and addressing any safety hazards or environmental concerns associated with commissioning activities.
    • Participating in lessons learned exercises to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in future commissioning projects.

    Academic Qualification:

    • Minimum of HND/BSc in relevant discipline

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and industry experience is essential

    KEY SKILLS

    • Deep knowledge of oil and gas processing equipment, systems, and technologies is essential. This includes familiarity with upstream, midstream, and downstream processes such as drilling, production, refining, and distribution.
    • Understanding and adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices are critical. This includes knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.
    • Proficiency in commissioning methodologies, procedures, and standards specific to the oil and gas industry is necessary. This includes familiarity with codes such as API (American Petroleum Institute) standards and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes.
    • Ability to manage complex commissioning projects within the constraints of time, cost, and quality.
    • Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing resources, and mitigating project risks is invaluable.
    • Capacity to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process. This may involve conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
    • Effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, is essential. This includes clear written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
    • Understanding of QA/QC processes and procedures to ensure that commissioning activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
